Without taking risk you will never expand. We tend to work in comfort zones and we avoid taking challenges so that we won’t have to face any losses but if we are not taking challenges then how we will come to know about our strengths, capabilities, etc. Every new technology or work will be a challenge in the beginning and once we accomplish that it will become our expertise.

  • Not Organized

Organized work culture is a great key to achieve more in a decided timeline. If you want to achieve more you will have to keep everything organized and well planned in your day to day list. Most of the people start their day without planning what they want to achieve by the end of that particular day and because of that they sometimes forget about some important task and waste a lot of time on the other less priority work. So it advised that be organized and plan your day ahead. Make a to-do list and work accordingly. There are plenty of project management and to-do list apps available in the market.

  • Lack of Focus

If you want to be successful in anything then you should focus on that work and keep going each and every day. Lack of focus results in failure most of the time. People these days are so much distracted with the technology thus they have less focus in their work which leads to failed startups. I suggest everyone to stay focused and remove distractions while working.

  • Don’t be Jack of All Trades

This is the biggest mistake most of the entrepreneurs make. They try to do all by themselves which results in lack of control in any of the tasks properly. You should not do everything by yourself instead you should have a respective team mate to share your workload. Trust the other people and share your workload.

  • Weak Management

This is the major factor when it comes to the reasons for failed startups. If your management is weak you won’t build up successful business. An entrepreneur should have strong management skills to run a business. Taking any decision personally can lead to biggest mistakes for example hiring a person just because he or she is your old friend or relative is never a good idea. You should be sure that he or she is well deserved and capable of doing the job or taking the responsibility of the position he/she is being hired for.

  • Not adapting new technology

Technology is changing rapidly and lots of new skills are in the market now. If you keep on providing old services and won’t adapt new skills, soon you will start getting less work. Your business will become outdated and won’t survive against competitors and latest trends. So in order to stay and grow in the market you will have to keep yourself and your business updated with the latest technology and skills.

So think and create a successful marketing plan, you should have a vision about your marketing needs, plans, etc. The first and one of the most important parts of the business is the marketing plan. Marketing starts even before the company starts.

  • Not maintaining Good Relations

Retention rate of a company decides how well settled your company is. Getting new leads and new clients are important and good things but retaining the old ones happily is something that every startup or the settled company should keep on achieving. If you keep your clients satisfied and they are happy with your services then they will come again and again to you. They will even recommend you in their circle which is the important factor in Marketing of a company. If you want to stay in the market for the long run then you should maintain a good relationship with your customers. Most of the time startups don’t focus on this important thing or sometimes they fail to give good quality service to their customer because of poor management and lack of required skills which in result create bad impact on customers and ends up breaking relationships with clients.

  • Hiring Wrong Person

Productivity depends on how well qualified and deserving employees are there in your company. If you hire the wrong person then it will affect productivity and which will put a bad effect on the company for the long run. You should hire an employee on the basis of his or her talent rather than any close references or relatives etc. Take your time and analyze a candidate properly before hiring. Quick hire decisions sometimes end up being the worst and wrong hire. Think before you hire.
